A few tips to help improve your festival experience!
- Have a good time.
- Don't mob the artistes!
- Carry and keep your ticket with you at all times.
- Please avoid bringing professional cameras (video and still) with you. You may have to leave them in the car. The same goes for any recording devices (audio or video).
- Do not carry any narcotic / psychotropic / alcoholic substances with you or attempt to smuggle them in or parcel them in advance.
- Do not carry any weapons with you. Pen knives included. For those of you who carry Swiss Army Knives (or their replicas), detatch...!
- Do not carry bags with you, you may have to leave them in the car or at a safe-deposit box.
- Do not expect to listen to ALL bands.
- We would recommend carrying ear-plugs or cotton, especially if you intend on standing close to the speaker stacks. While we don't intend to blast the levels, any exposure to loud volumes can cause damage to the ears.
- While we expect the weather to be sunny, it will be cold in the evenings, so be prepared.
- Do not attempt to access restricted areas or muscle your way past security guards.
- You may carry your cell phones with you.
- Do not leave children unattended.
- Festival ticket checks will be fairly strong so please do not attempt to transfer tickets or sneak people in for free. We can't sell tickets any cheaper than we already are.
- Take some time to visit the stalls on display. You will meet some interesting people and learn some very interesting things about the music "scene"!
- Don't walk in too late. You will miss a lot of great music.
- If you dance and mosh, have a ball, but please remember to be careful. We don't want you injuring yourself or anybody else!
- Heh heh...carry some cash with you. You will need this for food and beverages, and incase you wish to make any purchases.
