Music has always been a powerful means of communication and we at Prospect understand that. Our activities have given us access, and the ability, to influence the Indian youth to a large extent. With this knowledge, we have tied with the NAZ Foundation that works in the area of HIV/AIDS awareness and education.
While conceptualising the Eastwind, we foresaw The Festival as a platform to access and educate a large number of people on HIV/AIDS. We believe a festival platform would be the ideal way to gain access to a large number of young people and educate them about HIV/AIDS in a way they would understand and appreciate.
With the Eastwind Festival being held from 22nd to 24th February, 2008, Prospect along with the NAZ Foundation would like to take this opportunity to impart to the young – and impressionable audience – a strong message on HIV/AIDS, especially HIV prevention.
